Allied Health Professional Students

At the present time our interdisciplinary health students include nurse practitioners and nursing students, dietitian students, pharmacy students and social work students. We have established linkages with McMaster University, University of Western Ontario and Asthabasca University programs for Nurse Practitioners, the Conestoga College Nursing Program, University of Guelph Nutrition Program, University of Waterloo Pharmacy Program, as well as Wilfred Laurier University Masters of Social Work Program.

We view teaching as a privilege and as a responsibility. Exposing learners to the concepts and practices of primary care reform gives them a vision of what we think can be best practices as interdisciplinary care is modeled for our learners.
