New Vision continues to work closely with our community Health Agencies to ensure you our patients are updated on the current status of H1N1 Flu Virus.

Symptoms of the flu are: sudden onset of fever and cough which may be accompanied by muscle aches, headaches, extreme tiredness, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose.

Vaccinations

 

Updated Information Regarding H1N1 Vaccination:

 

New Vision is now offering H1N1 vaccine to all our patients.

  • Children between the ages of 6 months to 3 years old require two vaccination (Second dose should be 21 days after their first shot).
  • Children over 3 years of age only require one vaccination.
  • It is also recommended that children between 3 and 9 years of age with chronic health conditions receive two half-doses.

H1N1 vaccinations will be available:

        Monday through Friday (on a walk-in basis)     8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

 

Updated Information Regarding Seasonal Flu Vaccination:

 

In addition to the H1N1 vaccination, New Vision will offer seasonal flu vaccinations to patients under the age of 65 years with chronic health conditions.

Seasonal flu vaccinations will be available:

      Monday through Friday (on a walk-in basis)       8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
