Annual flu and COVID-19 vaccines are now available. Vaccination remains one of the best ways to reduce severe illness, prevent hospitalizations, and protect those around us. We strongly encourage all eligible individuals to receive both vaccines as recommended.

Appointment Availability

Starting October 15, 2025, we are offering limited appointments, prioritized for:

  • Infants and children aged 6 months to 4 years
  • Adults aged 65 years and older

Note: We cannot guarantee availability of the high-dose flu vaccine for patients aged 65+.

How to Book

If you are considered high-risk (see below), you can book a vaccine appointment:

Due to limited clinic availability, we encourage patients to also check with their local pharmacy for flu and COVID-19 vaccine access.

Who Is Considered High Risk?

  • Residents in congregate settings (e.g., long-term care, retirement homes)
  • Adults 65+ years
  • Pregnant individuals
    • (Note: Infants under 6 months benefit from maternal vaccination during pregnancy)
  • Children aged 6 months to 4 years
  • First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people
  • Individuals 6 months and older with certain health conditions, including:
    • Heart or lung conditions
    • Diabetes or metabolic disease
    • Cancer
    • Weakened immune system (due to conditions or medications)
    • Kidney disease
    • Anemia or blood disorders
    • Neurologic or developmental disorders
    • Class 3 obesity (BMI ≥ 40)
    • Children/adolescents on long-term ASA (Aspirin) therapy
