Making Sense of Pain
Living with pain can be challenging, especially when faced with barriers to care. Making Sense of Pain is a free, group-based program designed to empower individuals with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to manage pain in daily life. Over 9 to 10 weeks, participants explore topics like pain science, stress management, movement, sleep, and self-compassion-all in a welcoming, facilitator-led setting. Each session includes time for learning, discussion, and social connection.
This workshop will begin on Thursday September 11th. It will run for 10 weeks, with a one week break to 'practice skills'.
Dates: Thursdays; September 11th to November 13th
Location: In-person at Greenbrook site
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
