We are pleased to offer a specialized breastfeeding clinic. This service is open to all patients in our region.
Our goal is to provide high quality care focusing on wellness and feeding during the postpartum period.
The clinic is run by Dr. Joanna Zorzitto. She is an experienced family physician who has done extra training in Breastfeeding Medicine. She is a Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is a member of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM).
Common reasons to book an appointment:
- Nipple pain and/or breast pain
- Evaluation and treatment of tongue tie
- Concerns with milk supply
- Engorgement/blocked ducts/mastitis
- Concerns about medication and breastfeeding
- Concerns regarding infant growth/weight
- Pumping guidance
